  • ½ cup Almond Flakes Can substitute with pecans or walnuts.

For the Garnish

  • 2 tablespoons Black Sesame Seeds Optional; can be replaced with poppy seeds.

Instructions

How to Make Cranberry and Brie Filo Crackers

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line two baking trays with parchment paper.
  • Slice the thawed filo sheets into 36 squares by dividing them lengthwise and cutting widthwise.
  • Position one square of filo on a flat surface and cover the rest with a damp towel. Brush the exposed square generously with melted butter.
  • Layer at one end a slice of brie, a teaspoon of cranberry sauce, and a sprinkle of almond flakes.
  • Roll the pastry tightly from the filled end, pinching both ends to seal.
  • Arrange the filled crackers on the prepared baking trays, brush with remaining butter, and sprinkle with black sesame seeds.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
