  • ½ cup Flour
  • ¼ cup Butter Cold, for crumbs

How to Make Cherry Cobbler Muffins

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare muffin tins with liners or grease them lightly.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, mix melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
  • Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients without overmixing, then gently add the cherries.
  • For the streusel topping, mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon, then cut in the cold butter until crumbly.
  • Spoon the batter into muffin tins, filling liners about ¾ full, and sprinkle streusel on top.
  • Bake for 18-22 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool for a few minutes in the tins, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

Serve warm with a drizzle of honey for extra sweetness. Use a bit of flour on cherries to prevent sinking.
