Instructions

How to Make Pumpkin Spice Bread

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan to prevent sticking.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth. Add pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 50-55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk until smooth for the glaze.
  • Once baked, cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and drizzle with glaze.
