  • In a large bowl, combine 3 cups of bread flour, 2 teaspoons of instant yeast, and 1.5 teaspoons of salt.
  • Gradually pour in 1.5 cups of warm tap water, stirring with a rubber spatula until a sticky dough forms.
  • Cover the bowl with cling wrap and let it rise in a warm spot, doubling in size for 2-3 hours.
  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside, about 30 minutes before baking.
  • Flour a clean surface, scrape out the risen dough, and shape it into an 8-inch circle.
  • Layer your shredded cheese on one half, fold the dough over, and round it slightly.
  • Transfer the dough onto parchment paper, sprinkle with reserved cheese, and place it into the hot Dutch oven.
  • Cover and bake for 35 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let the bread cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing to enhance texture.

Notes
