  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 10 oz Frozen Spinach thoroughly dried

  • 1 each Egg for wash

Instructions

How to Make Easy Spinach Dip Pinwheels

  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Once mixed, thoroughly dry and incorporate the thawed, squeezed spinach until evenly blended.
  • Flour your countertop generously, then unroll the puff pastry sheet. Spread the creamy spinach filling evenly over the pastry, leaving a long edge bare to seal the roll later.
  • Starting from the filled edge, roll the pastry tightly into a log shape. Wrap the log in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up for easier slicing.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C). Once chilled, remove the log from the fridge and slice it into ½ inch rounds using a sharp knife for clean cuts.
  • Place the pinwheels on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them apart. Brush the tops with an egg wash for a golden finish, then bake for 15-20 minutes or until they puff up and turn golden brown.
  • Once baked to perfection, allow the pinwheels to cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring them to a serving platter. They’re best enjoyed warm or at room temperature!

Notes

Optional: Serve these pinwheels with a side of marinara or ranch dipping sauce for an extra special touch.
