For the Salad Base

  • 4 cups Mixed Salad Greens
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup Cucumber diced
  • 1 each Red Bell Pepper diced

For the Toppings

  • ½ cup Sliced Almonds or pecans/walnuts
  • ½ cup Dried Cranberries or dried cherries/blueberries
  • ½ cup Feta Cheese crumbled, or vegan cheese
  • ¼ cup Red Onion sliced

For the Dressing

  • ¼ cup Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing or honey-balsamic
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions

How to Make Christmas Tossed Salad

  • Wash the mixed salad greens thoroughly and place them in a large bowl.
  • Halve the cherry tomatoes, and dice the cucumber and red bell pepper, then add them to the bowl.
  • Sprinkle the salad with sliced almonds and dried cranberries.
  • Crumble feta cheese over the salad.
  • Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette and season with salt and pepper. Toss to combine.
  • Serve immediately for best freshness.
